Schubert & Salzer Control Systems GmbH, the sliding gate valve specialist from Ingolstadt is expanding its innovative product range of stop valves and control valves for liquid and gaseous media, that are used in a wide range of industries, with the segment disk valves and metering orifices from damko Ventiltechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Schaafheim. Through an asset deal, Schubert & Salzer Control Systems GmbH has acquired the entire "Valve and Measurement Technology" segment from damko Ventiltechnik GmbH & Co. KG and will integrate it into its headquarters in Ingolstadt.

Sliding gate valves also available now in special materials Sliding gate valves provide accurate, fast, and economical control of liquid, steam, and gaseous media. Starting immediately, sliding gate valves are also manufactured in the following special materials:

- Hastelloy
- Monel
- Titanium
- 1.4539 stainless steel
- Duplex steel

This means the advantages of these control and stop valves can also be utilized for processes with critical, aggressive, and highly corrosive media. Sliding gate valves in these special materials are available in finely graduated nominal sizes ranging from DN15 to DN250.

Hygiene Right Angle Valve with Fully PTFE-Coated Sealing Plug


Currently using the 6020 pneumatic control valve as the basis,
Schubert & Salzer has combined the known advantages of the right
angle valve for processes in the drinks and food industry with
- a new sealing concept for the sealing plug and
- an expansion of the range with DN50, DN80 and DN100 sizes.
In addition to the previously-available soft sealing trims complete with
separate sealing, these valves with nominal sizes of between DN50 and
DN100 are now optionally equipped with a PTFE-coated sealing plug.
As a result, gaps in the seating area are minimised, which means that
this control valve is designed to meet the highest of hygiene
requirements.
