Valves with Certificate of Conformity under EC 1935/2004

Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food has been in force for nearly 10 years. This and the so-called “plastics regulation” EU 10/2011 – supplementary to the GMP and FDA guidelines – govern precisely which materials may be used for this and how plant operators and component manufacturers must implement them. This certificate of conformity, is provided for many of Schubert & Salzer Control Systems’ series of valves.

Pneumatic volume booster - Valves switch up to 4 times faster

With the newly developed, high precision 4090 pneumatic volume booster from Schubert & Salzer Control Systems, it is possible to amplify the air strength of the set point signal from positioner to actuator such that these control valves – depending on nominal valve size – operate up to 4 times faster without any further modification.

Indicator indicates more than just open or closed position

Seeing at a glance whether an important valve is open or closed can be crucial. Schubert & Salzer Control Systems has developed the 2040 digital position indicator to provide a totally unique on-site signalling unit. It uses a coloured light signal, visible from a distance, to show the open or closed position of a valve.
